San Anselmo, CA — Joyent, a provider of web-based team collaboration software, has launched a hosted version of its software platform. Using only a web browser, teams access the Joyent online software platform to organize and share team files, calendars, contacts, and emails. Three monthly service plans are available: $15 for four users and 5 GB of storage; $50 for 10 users and 25 GB of storage; and $100 for 25 users and 100 GB of storage. We have been working on Joyent since January 2005, and it’s great, finally!, to be able to pull back the curtains on our work. We are proud of the work we’ve done and looking forward to seeing how this software will be adopted by our customers.
The basis of Joyent software is open-source software. Thanks to all the contributors and visionaries who have helped to build the many components Joyent is built on top of.
